Abstract:
The study of the susceptibility to stress (change in stress resistance) of military personnel in different periods of service is especially relevant in connection with all the new requirements imposed on a military man in a modern, dynamically changing socio-political environment, which exert great psycho-emotional pressure. The purpose of the work is to study the susceptibility of military personnel to stress and identify differences in stress resistance in different periods of their military service. Studying the issue of stress resistance in the future will help to increase stress tolerance and increase the productivity of a serviceman at all stages of military service. The dynamics of stress resistance of a serviceman is currently poorly understood. Materials and methods. To study the susceptibility of military personnel to stress, the method of K. McLean «Scale of organizational stress» (adapted by N.E. Vodopyanova), as well as methods of statistical analysis were used. Results and discussion. According to the results of the study, two of the most pronounced psychological aspects characterizing the process of professional development of military personnel have been identified. The first is a parabolic curve of change in the level of development of resilience, which increases during the first and second periods of professional activity and decreases during the third period. Secondly, as professional development increases, resistance to organizational stress increases and the quality of activities improves. Conclusions. the overall vitality index of military personnel always remains high throughout the entire period of service, but despite this, there is an increase in the first and second periods of professional activity, and a decline in the third period.
